I wanted to let you know that I enjoy your web site very much. I am attaching some photos of somethings I made using commercial patterns. The blouses are made from Butterick B5357 and the skirts are made by modifying Simplicity 5403. I modified it by making additional panels and adding a straight elastic waistband rather than the zipper closure. The gold toned skirt has a simple D ring belt that I made to match it using some gold toned vinyl I had on hand.
Instead of making a western shirt for my fiance, I add some machine embroidery to a ready made shirt.
